Access Monitoring – Institute Of Research is an independent, non- governmental and non-profit organization established by the group of young experts in February 2009. We strive to institute ourselves among the distinguished civil society groups and work with all stakeholders regardless their political, ethnic, religious and other affiliations. Our team is committed to supporting the sustaining and expansion of the democratic achievements of Georgia using our professional experience.

Goals

Our Mission is to support streamlining of the democratic processes within the constitutional framework, development of civil society and encouraging professionalism in Georgia. Access Monitoring aims to support the processes of public policy design and implementation and to assist the elaboration and realization of strategic documents in different fields of governance.

Within next few years Access Monitoring will focus on the following issues:

  • Policy Development Processes - research and analysis of issues at the grassroots national levels; support of public debates.
  • Promote professionalism in young generation – create incentives and raise public awareness for increased qualification
  • Support Business Development – prepare research materials for Georgian business
  • on new developments in respective fields
  • Public-Private Partnerships – support and participate in PPPs
  • Regional cooperation – EU Neighborhood Policy, Eastern Partnership Program, BSEC, GUAM
  • Gender Mainstreaming – support women’s active participation in all activities.

Ketty brings the experience of Member of Parliament of Georgia 2004-08, sponsored adoption of the Law on Domestic Violence, amendments to the Law on the Bar and other legislation; four years of Rule of Law Specialist at USAID Caucasus primarily working on Judicial and Administrative Reforms; three years of Legal Expert at several EU/TACIS Transport Projects.
